2 years ago, I started HoopZone as a simple portfolio project, a basketball training app I thought I'd build, ship, and move on from.

Then I fell in love with it.

What started as an idea turned into a full ecosystem for basketball players: shooting mechanics analysis powered by MediaPipe and AI, a live shot tracker, training drills, a coaching chatbot, and a calendar to keep it all structured.

Along the way I had to learn things I never planned to: computer vision, on-device ML, backend security, product design, motion graphics, marketing. Every problem the app threw at me made me better.

I'm proud of what I built, but more proud of who I became building it.
