I have this idea in Rive where the animation would slow down if you hover over the image. The tricky part here is you can't databind the speed in your timeline. So we just need to get creative. We can already databind the transition duration. So, instead of animating keyframes in the timeline, we make the timelines as keyframes, and we make the whole state machine as the timeline. Each timeline only has a single key, and since we now have transitions from one timeline to the next, we can now databind its duration, thus controlling the speed of the whole animation. Everything here, from design to animation to the interaction, is done inside Rive.

WOW nice

This summer I worked an interactive, animated webpage to showcase all the local producers who supply Auberge de crussol, unique French restaurant, in Saint-Péray, France. The page was built entirely in @Rive, using the supplied vector illustrations to produce a series of animations and interactive moments that are triggered by the user's touch or cursor states. Bespoke sound design was woven throughout the experience, with sound and movement tightly synchronised to add depth to the animation. Beautiful work in Rive. Was the click and drag navigation an intentional choice over regular scrolling?
