Fold to focus. Unfold to plan.
The iPhone Duo goes on sale on 23 October. We spent a week laying every main screen of InfiniteUp, our own task partner, across both of its displays, and this is what that looks like.
Closed, it is the phone you already know: today's list, the next step, nothing else. Open, it is the whole plan on two pages: the board, the week, and the Briefing, your day written as a morning newspaper, printed as a two-page spread. Nothing important sits on the fold.
The App Store build made with the iOS 27.1 SDK is live, and the fold works in any browser window sized like the Duo, which is how we tested it before owning one. We are writing the rest down as it happens, dates included: https://infiniteup.dev/iphone-duo/?utm_source=contra&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=duo-launch
Built with FlutterFlow and Flutter, Firebase underneath. If your app needs to be ready for the Duo before April 2027, when Apple makes Duo screenshots mandatory, that is the kind of week we do for clients too.

Made some project page fixes on my Framer template in progress and made the project index page responsive before going to bed tonight.
To keep the UX feeling nice I added a scroll snapping effect to the project video panes so that they never appear only partially, but one pane at a time is always fully on screen as the user scrolls. 🔧
Really inspiring work! 😁

Momoyogusa SS27: A 1909 Pattern Book Art-Directs a 2027 Capsule
In 1909, Kyoto designer Kamisaka Sekka published Momoyogusa ("A World of Things"), three volumes of woodblock-printed patterns so flat and graphic they still look modern a century later.
I trained a Recraft V4 Style on eight plates from the Cleveland Museum of Art's public-domain copy, keeping Sekka's flat colour fields, metallic accents and empty paper grounds.
Then I handed him a 2027 brief: a streetwear capsule. His winter river became a quilted puffer, his cranes climbed onto chunky trainers, his peonies bloomed on headphones, and his dancers came back in matching tracksuits.
