### Concept Statement
While the creative landscape is saturated with sterile, neon-cyberpunk sci-fi renders and generic digital AI art, L-Code Dynamics executes a total counter-movement. We return to the absolute origin of craftsmanship—where form is born from pure raw force, sweat, and unyielding precision.
Welcome to the CapCut Guild (Est. 1264). In this alternate industrial timeline, video is not edited via glass screens and pixels; it is forged from glowing iron on a heavy anvil. We have reimagined CapCut by translating its entire functional software architecture into the ruthless mechanics of a 13th-century medieval blacksmith forge.
Reimagined Interface & Design Studio Features:
The Canvas UI (The Brass Control Shield): The integrated brass control hub on the apparatus completely replaces the modern GUI.
Inspiration Phase: Controlled via the Scroll Icon. Instead of browsing digital templates, the blacksmith turns the physical selector, prompting a mechanical arm to retrieve ancient parchment scrolls containing master design blueprints from the Guild’s archives.
Creation Phase (The Canvas AI Agent): Represented by the central Guild Shield bearing the master's name: JAN. The canvas acts as an autonomous forge assistant. Instead of typing text prompts, you communicate through the precise rhythm of hammer strikes on the anvil. The Agent interprets the vibrations to stoke the furnace and feed the correct raw metal under the blade.
Editing Phase (GUI & LUI Refined Editing): The lower rim features tactile kowed tools: The Forged Keys function as the Layer Lock mechanism; The Chisel & File represent brushes and masking tools used to clean up edges directly on the film medium.
The Split Tool (The Guillotine): The ultimate precise cut. A release of the rope, gravity takes over, and the heavy, custom CapCut scissor-blade guillotine falls down with surgical precision. What is cut falls straight into the furnace embers below. Zero Error Tolerance.

Concept Statement
CapCut Republic reimagines CapCut as a fictional digital country built for creators, where editing, remixing, publishing, and going viral become part of everyday culture.
The concept transforms CapCut from a creative tool into a playful visual world with its own national identity: creator passports, citizen IDs, creative currency, postage stamps, official documents, and campaign materials. The goal was to keep the spirit of CapCut as a creative companion, while turning it into a complete brand universe that feels fun, expressive, and instantly recognizable.
The visual direction uses a bright, friendly, hand-drawn style with playful characters, soft colors, national symbols, and creator-focused details. Each asset supports the idea of “creative citizenship”, inviting people to join a borderless republic made for imagination, content, and self-expression.

TimeMap — Historical World Explorer
Short description:
TimeMap is an interactive historical world map explorer that lets you travel through time and space simultaneously. Select multiple cities and archaeological sites from different parts of the world and see what was happening at the exact same moment in history.
What I built:
An interactive web app where you can:
Search historical cities and archaeological sites
Compare up to 4 locations simultaneously across 5,000 years of history
Navigate through 7 historical eras via an interactive timeline
Filter by world region
Listen to era-appropriate ambient music
Explore a vintage cartographic map with wave ocean texture
How I used Google Stitch:
I started from a personal infographic I designed in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop about the Korean Peninsula. I extracted the visual DNA — warm cream palette, coral accents, serif typography — and brought it into Google Stitch to prototype the interface. Through multiple iterations in Stitch I designed the map layout, the side panel, the leader portrait, the timeline and the editorial aesthetic. Stitch was the bridge between my design vision and the final development in Claude Code.

Feedback on Stitch:
Stitch is genuinely powerful for rapid UI prototyping. Iterating visually with prompts saved enormous time. The design consistency across iterations was impressive. Areas for improvement: handling complex SVG elements like world maps was challenging, and version history navigation could be more intuitive.
