For a SaaS or AI company, your homepage should guide someone through a simple story:
What problem are you solving? ↓ How does your product solve it? ↓ Why should I believe you? ↓ Why should I choose you? ↓ What's the next step?
Every section should move that story forward.
If it doesn't explain, build trust, remove friction, or drive action, ask:
Does this section actually need to be here?
We've found that removing the right content can sometimes improve a website more than adding another feature, animation, or CTA.
Because visitors don't need to know everything.
They need to understand enough to take the next step.

This matches what I see. The homepages that convert are the ones where every section earns its scroll. I pressure-test by asking what a visitor can answer after each block, and if the answer doesn't change, it's decoration. Cutting is just the hardest edit to sell a client on.

Honestly, we try not to push back on the feature itself, but on where it needs to live.
If a founder feels something is important, we’ll find a way to give it visibility without letting it interrupt the main story.
