Project Title
British Housing Development — Detailed and Photorealistic External Architectural Visualization
Project Description
This project demonstrates a high-fidelity external 3D architectural visualization for a traditional British residential housing development, fully modeled in Revit and rendered using D5 Render. Working directly from technical architectural plans and material briefs, the objective was to deliver a photo-realistic external render that accurately captures the distinct regional styling of the UK housing market.
As the architectural visualizer on this project, I managed the entire end-to-end production pipeline, translating 2D data into a highly detailed 3D environment.
Key Features & Technical Execution:
Meticulous Material Accuracy: Detailed replication of multi-toned traditional British red brickwork facades, dark slate roofing tiles, and standard UK uPVC window detailing.
Precision Modeling: Translation of structural boundaries, roof gables, integrated garage fixtures, and front entryway features directly from architectural site plans using Revit.
Environmental Context: Realistic implementation of regional brick-paver driveways, boundary fencing, and accurate daylighting/shadow casting via D5 Render to bring the property to life.
Phased Workflow Pipeline: Executed through a rigorous production process, moving from initial structural wireframe/clay alignment to detailed texture maps, soft environmental lighting, and final high-resolution post-production.
This case study showcases my ability to act as a self-sufficient, highly reliable architectural visualizer capable of interpreting international design codes and delivering on-time, production-ready CGI assets for developers and marketing pipelines.
