Rebuilding Hair Pinns for Seamless Ecommerce & Booking
Hair Pinns needed more than a new website. The business had two important customer journeys that needed to work together: customers shopping for haircare products and clients booking salon appointments.
I helped transform the business from its existing WordPress setup into a more practical digital ecosystem built around Shopify for ecommerce and Fresha for bookings.
My work included creating the brand’s visual direction, migrating and organizing 200+ products, rebuilding the ecommerce experience on Shopify, connecting the booking journey with Fresha, and strengthening the site’s SEO foundation through redirects, sitemap work, image alt text, site structure and other on-page improvements.
I also supported the business with blog content and social media, helping create a more consistent digital presence beyond the website itself.
The goal was never simply to move Hair Pinns from one platform to another. It was to build a setup that better reflected how the business actually operates.
The result was a smoother shopping experience, a seamless booking journey, stronger brand consistency and an improved foundation for search visibility and growth. Product sales also improved after the transition without disrupting the salon’s booking process.

So clean and beautifully executed!
When designing a consulting agency website, most people lead with services.
We usually do too. It feels like the logical starting point.
But when we worked on Orvian Labs, we tried something different.
Instead of opening with what they do, we led with what the client actually needs to feel before they read anything clarity and trust.
The hero doesn't list services. It just says "We Bring The Clarity Your Business Needs." And the rest of the page builds the case quietly a scrolling industry list, a three-card value section, 120+ projects as a single trust signal, and a dark manifesto block that finally tells you who they are.
The testimonial comes last. By that point, the visitor already believes it.
What we noticed was that leading with feeling before features made the layout decisions much easier. Every section had a clear emotional job to do, not just an informational one.
This was one of our website layouts to work through. Hope you like it.
