For the Envato and Contra Human by Design challenge, I wanted to explore how human creativity and AI can work together.
My original concept was to zoom into an Earth-like planet and travel between creators from different cultures. As I experimented with Envato AI, I realised something important.
My biggest Human by Design moment wasn't fixing an AI mistake.
It was changing the narrative.
Instead of treating the Envato logo as Earth, I imagined it as a naturally formed planet—a civilization built entirely on creativity. That single creative decision transformed the whole film.
From there, I refined prompts, discarded generations that didn't support the narrative, adjusted pacing, colour and music, and simplified scenes whenever they strengthened the story.
Envato AI generated the visual assets, while I remained responsible for the storytelling, creative direction, pacing, and the final edit in CapCut.
To me, Human by Design means using AI to expand creativity while keeping the final creative decisions in human hands.

AI has changed the game and made almost anything possible. But just because you can make anything doesn’t mean you always know what to make.
For this one, I took one simple piece of Envato’s identity, the logo, and pushed it as far as I could with one goal: make a pretty sick ad.
From there, it was a lot of experimenting, prompting, failing, refining, and eventually bringing all those ideas to life using Envato’s AI tools.
The result is my take on Human by Design. AI can give us endless possibilities, but someone still has to come up with the idea and decide where to take it.

Human By Design
Every masterpiece begins with a single idea.
From the first architectural sketches of ancient civilizations to the iconic structures of the modern world, humanity has always transformed imagination into reality.
Human By Design explores this journey through the evolution of a simple pencil stroke.
A single line becomes a geometric idea.
The idea becomes a blueprint.
The blueprint becomes architecture.
And architecture becomes the future.
Using AI as a creative tool, I explored how human vision and technology can work together to transform concepts into cinematic experiences. Each chapter represents a different expression of human creativity — knowledge, harmony, beauty, ambition, innovation, and the possibilities of tomorrow.
The final future city represents the next chapter of design: a world where creativity, technology, and humanity continue to evolve together.

This is absolutely stunning. I really love how you turned a single pencil stroke into the evolution of human civilization. The storytelling, pacing, and visual transitions all feel incredibly cinematic. Beautiful work!
For this challenge, I wanted to create something that a real client could actually use while staying true to the theme Human by Design. Instead of recreating an existing movie, I created an original psychological crime thriller trailer titled, The Last Statement.
I began by brainstorming different ideas and collaborating with AI to explore story concepts. To strengthen the narrative, I studied Derek Lieu's approach to movie trailer structure and used it as the foundation for the pacing and
storytelling.
Envato became my primary creative toolkit. I sourced stock footage, music, and sound effects, from Envato, refined selected clips with Envato VideoGen AI, and generated the dialogue using Envato VoiceGen. During editing, I enhanced the voice performances and timing in CapCut PC to better match the emotion of each
scene.
The story opens with a quiet phone call instead of loud music, immediately creating curiosity. It then introduces the mystery through a news report before the detective discovers there are no fingerprints, no weapon only a mysterious recording. The tension
gradually builds until a montage of key moments leaves the audience wanting
more.
My Human by Design moment
was in the creative decisions AI couldn't make for me: choosing silence over
spectacle, deciding what to reveal and what to hide, shaping the pacing, and
using sound design to build suspense. AI helped me work faster, but the
storytelling, emotion, and final creative direction came from human judgment.
