Second frame wins and here is why… people would pause to see the dogs walk in… just like I did…

That pause is what I was testing. A explains the service faster, while the dogs walking into B give people a reason to keep watching.

And that way they spend longer time on the website which is also a win

That was the goal. If the motion earns a few extra seconds, the rest of the page gets a better chance to make its case.
