My Design Process:
When I started this project, I wanted to stay away from boring, boxy website layouts. As a civil engineer and website designer, I spend my days working with heavy structural plans and high-end 3D visuals. I wanted my website to feel just as bold, like a premium architecture magazine. The goal was to use lots of empty space, big text, and layout blocks that overlap each other naturally.
How I used the Finish Layer tools:
Custom Fonts: I didn't want to use the standard fonts that everyone else uses. I uploaded a bold, custom serif font directly into Squarespace. This made the main titles like "AURA" and "Start the Blueprint" look totally unique.
Block Transforms: Instead of keeping every box perfectly straight, I used the transform tool. I rotated my background shapes by exactly -3 degrees to break the grid and make the page feel more alive.
Stacks: For the overlapping parts—like where the text sits right over an image, or the contact form floats over a rotated background—I grouped them using Stacks. This makes sure everything stays locked in place and looks perfect when people check the site on their phones.
Block Animations: I wanted the site to have some smooth movement. I added scroll animations so that when people look at the Project Gallery, the photos fade in or slide up automatically as they scroll down the page.

Voted Option 1, the single row layout gives the integration cards more room to breathe. Option 2's stacked grouping feels a bit cramped next to that centered logo.
