Working on a dental app landing page. If women 25+ are the primary audience (but not the only users), which direction balances broad appeal better: blue or pink?

I would go blue, it feels more universal and clinical for dental

Totally agree with you!

I think it depends on the gender you are aiming for; if it is exclusively women, then definitely pink, otherwise blue, as blue tends to feel more universal.

Awesome Hazn 🙌🏻

As a woman, the blue stood out to me first. I also like how the yellow is shining through.

yeah, I didn't want to generalize or attach pink to woman-only color. thanks for your feedback.

Id go with the pink one if women are your primary audience

I agree. But this was also a small test case for me around how we generalise colours based on gender.

Both

We’ve tested this with health products and blue tends to convert more consistently. Pink performs better once brand trust is already established

Blue and green feel more indicative of pain (blue) and relief of pain (yellow)!

100% agree on this!

Personally, I'd say dental products are always better perceived using clean, light, bright colors - that how we like our teeth to look / feel. Pink looks more like feminine product, but doesn't connect to anything "Dentistry" related, in my eyes. A small suggestion.. maybe you...

Absolutely! I love your overall feedback and a great suggestion about more clear headline.

Option B looks good

I personally would move away from strongly saturated tints (the baby pink is nothing but a remnant of the "girls must be pink", but in reality women don't really like those tones, imo). For a female oriented branding i would look instead towards softer tones like beiges, maybe a...

Ahan, great advice, leaning more towards the earthly pastels?

I'm voting blue! Something about blue just clearly communicates dental care and has a calming vibe (maybe not include the yellow?)

Yes, thank you for your comment and an important note on yellow. Got a bunch of feedback from this great community, so definitely going to give a thought to all of that.

I prefer the right one

The blue is so obvious it's that boring=bad. The lighter pastel is pillows~unstressful if the given demographic is also having retina displays landing on it at night in a low light area. Pillows not parks is likely where pain relief hunting will be and should avoid pallette the conflicts.

I think the blue one. It looks much more universal than the pink. I will only go for the pink if it's intentionally targeted at an audience.

Blue is going well with the concept.....
