Light mode or dark mode, which do you actually use?
I designed both variants for the MESHKLOUD architect dashboard, and I genuinely cannot pick a favourite. Light mode reads cleaner against the technical drawings, the blueprint lines breathe better, feels more like working at a real desk. Dark mode though pulls the whole interface together differently.
The interesting challenge with this one was that the main content is always a black and white architectural drawing. So the surrounding UI has to complement it without competing. Light mode steps back and lets the drawing do everything. Dark mode wraps it, makes the tool feel like a product you want to sit inside.

Dark mode — it wraps the drawing instead of competing with it. Feels like a proper design tool, not just a viewer.

I wanted to explore a different question:
"What if technology could learn how people already communicate?"

1️⃣ 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝗴𝗺𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗲
I designed and generated the entire experience directly in Figma Make, focusing on accessibility, simplicity, and a premium user experience.
2️⃣ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝘁 𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗮-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
Instead of traditional inputs, I wanted users to communicate through gestures using real-time camera tracking.
3️⃣ 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗣𝗶𝗽𝗲 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀
MediaPipe tracks hand landmarks and understands gesture positions and movement patterns.
4️⃣ 𝗖𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴
Users can:
• Record a gesture
• Assign a meaning
• Save it
The system learns and recognizes custom gestures.
5️⃣ 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲
Supabase stores:
• Gesture recordings
• Saved phrases
• Recognition history
6️⃣ 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆
Users can build and share their own visual language instead of relying only on predefined gestures.

Day 3: The Archive Goes Global
103 places now seeded into the database. Every single one sourced from Reddit, real people, real memories, real places they actually stood in at some point in their life.
What I shipped today: heatmap, i18n, logos, bug fixes across the submissions flow, and two Figma Make widgets live on the Figma Community - https://glassy-sky-12636665.figma.site
Today felt like a struggle. Trying to polish something that's becoming my baby. Got banned from a couple of subreddits along the way but kept pushing. Learned a lot about how the tone of these posts needs to land, the difference between asking people to use your product and asking people to share something they already carry.
Tomorrow: cleaning up the design system and adding the Figma Weave textures I generated on day one.
