✨ KEEPLI, a mobile app mascot created specifically for the Recraft × Contra Mascot Challenge
🧩 Problem
People constantly save photos, notes, places, ideas, and small reminders, yet most of them eventually disappear into digital noise.
Apps can store information, but they often lack the emotional feeling that something meaningful is being genuinely cared for and kept safe.
💡 Solution
That is how KEEPLI, The Little Keeper of What Matters, came to life.
KEEPLI is a warm, observant, and quietly optimistic mascot that keeps forgotten ideas, meaningful places, photographs, tiny joys, and memories, then brings them back at the right moment.
I specialize in mobile product design and have worked on 350+ mobile apps, so KEEPLI was never designed as a standalone illustration. From the beginning, it was created as a character capable of living inside a real digital product.
For this project, I developed:
a distinctive silhouette and personality
a system of emotional states
a custom wordmark and app icon
a sticker pack
mascot integration across the mobile interface
a physical keepsake kit
🎯 Result
The result is a cohesive mascot system that remains recognizable across the mobile app, brand identity, stickers, and physical applications.
My portfolio already includes mascots created for real mobile products, some of which were also developed with Recraft. KEEPLI, however, is an original concept created specifically for this challenge as a complete character, brand, and product system.

10 YEARS AGO, I ACCIDENTALLY NAMED A SYSTEM THAT DIDN’T EXIST YET.
I simply needed a name for my portfolio.
So I combined the first letter of my name with part of my surname.
A.S.O.L.
No brand story.
No strategy session.
No attempt to invent something “creative.”
Back then, it was simply my name in design.
But 2 years ago, when ASOL became a studio, I realized something:
THOSE FOUR LETTERS ALREADY DESCRIBED THE WAY I HAD BEEN BUILDING PRODUCTS ALL ALONG.
Before moving into design, I worked in backend development.
Then in product management.
So I never learned to see an app as a collection of beautiful screens.
I learned to ask:
💡 Will users understand its value?
⚡ What will activate them?
🔁 Why will they return?
💳 What will make them pay?
📈 What measurable outcome should the product create?
That thinking eventually became:
A - APP`
An ambitious app idea shaped into a real, structured mobile product.
S - STRATEGY
The thinking before the screens.
I personally lead the strategy for our key products, bringing together experience across development, product management, UX/UI, and hundreds of mobile app launches.
O - OUTCOMES
We define the result first.
Then we build the product logic, UX, activation, retention, monetization, and design around it.
L - LAUNCH
We do not disappear after delivering a Figma file.
We support implementation, prepare the product for the market, shape its launch strategy, and continue improving it based on real user behavior and data.
This is how the ASOL Framework was born.

Amazing concept! The dark visual style fits the cocktail experience perfectly, and the journey-based structure makes the app feel engaging rather than just informative.
Very often, clients ask me to create an interactive mascot for their digital product.
So, to take part in the #characterchallenge, I created a character who isn’t shy about showing his emotions. I decided to approach this with a sense of humor, so I used the old Addams Family movies as references.
Ruby (that’s what I named him) can be happy, sad, or even angry - all controlled via inputs.
