Problem
Local produce sellers often struggle with limited reach, unpredictable demand, and food waste, while buyers face inconvenience, long waits, and uncertainty about freshness and availability.
Solution
RootlyMarket bridges this gap by allowing buyers to browse products, place orders, and book convenient pickup slots. Sellers prepare orders in advance and notify buyers when everything is ready.

Messaging & Social Features:
The platform includes a direct messaging module for buyer–seller communication, event ticket purchasing for farm expos or similar events, and social features such as comments, likes, and feed interactions for followers.

The idea seems nice, and I think the buyers will have to collect the products themselves. Will this not limit the use to small area? As a buyer why whould he purchase from a shop 10km away and same for seller as the customer might be limited to a limited radius.
Valid point, and yes, hyperlocal is intentional at the start.
We’re focusing on trust and freshness first, especially for meat and dairy. Once density builds in specific areas, delivery partnerships or logistics layers can be added. Scale comes after proof of demand, not before. @Pratham Singh
Yes in the long run delivery partnership will be required to keep the core mission of the platform. Well the performance always depends on how you reach to the users

The idea is nice, and I think the buyer has to go to shops to collect the products right? Will this not limit the radius of operation for sellers? As a buyer why would he purchase something from a shop 10km away. For a seller, the customers might be limited to local only like few km radius.
