Panino Romano Squarcia is a local restaurant in Rome that needed to reduce its dependency on third-party delivery platforms. High commissions from services like Just Eat and Glovo were reducing margins and limiting control over customer relationships.
I developed a custom web application that allows the restaurant to manage orders directly. Customers can browse the menu, place orders, and choose delivery or pickup through a simple interface. Payments are handled via Stripe.
The system gives full control over operations and eliminates intermediaries, allowing the business to generate direct revenue without commissions and improve margins.
This project shows how a local business can move from platform dependency to full ownership of its sales channel.
