I usually let my work do the talking, but this one deserves some context.
Shot this for Blackboy Rexx at Truelife Fest 2025. Outdoor venue, ~200 people, everyone singing the lyrics back to him. I'd been standing around for two hours waiting for his set, no gimbal, no lights, just me and my camera handheld.
Turns out that was the move. Being handheld let me move fast, get in close, catch the energy as it happened. I don't think he was even the headliner, but he stole the show. Or maybe that's just how I remember it because of how the video turned out.
Either way, the artist sent this to two venues and booked both.
