Probably one of my most complex pieces to date. ✨ Lately, I’ve been sitting with this undeniably strong urge to push my work to new heights, so I decided to make this piece with LUSH's knot wraps in mind. I have always been a big fan of the brand’s art direction, their commitment to sustainability and their ongoing campaign against animal testing. It only felt right to create a pattern that put animals front and centre. I’d love to see this design out in the wild, so if anyone can help make that dream a reality, that would be amazing! 💜

Putting the animals front and center given LUSH's stance against animal testing is such a smart conceptual thread, it's not just a pretty pattern, it actually says something. A piece this dense must take forever to get the repeat tiling seamlessly, how long did this one take start to finish?

The goal is not necessarily to choose the “prettier” image, but the one that would be more effective for a food/dessert brand on social media.

A: Lifestyle-focused, with the product being consumed + an Instagram/social proof element B: More playful and product-focused, using the donuts as the main visual hook
