Blairsin's Hair Salon Appointment Booking Platform
A full appointment-based salon business built for the challenge, with both a client-facing booking experience and a business owner dashboard.
Client side:
14-day interactive booking calendar with service-based time slots (slot duration adjusts automatically per service e.g. 3-hour braids vs. 90-min silk press)
Real-time slot reservation that prevents double-booking
Loading states while slots load, and a friendly empty-state message when a day is fully booked
Detailed confirmation screen after booking, with a full summary of the appointment
Sticky "Book Now" CTA in the nav, plus per-service "Book this" shortcuts that pre-select the service
Business owner side (admin dashboard):
A dedicated admin view where the salon owner can see all upcoming bookings
Cancel/manage appointments directly, which automatically releases the reserved time slot back to clients

FadeFlow: From “Can I book Saturday?” to “You’re booked.”
I built FadeFlow for Fade District, a fictional solo barbershop in Yaba, Lagos, run by Malik Adeyemi.
The problem is simple: a lot of bookings start with a message like:
“Can I get a haircut Saturday afternoon?”
From there, Malik has to ask for the service, check availability, reply with time options, create the booking, confirm it, collect the deposit, send reminders, and handle changes.
FadeFlow removes that back-and-forth.
Customers can choose a service, see available times, pay a ₦5,000 deposit, and confirm their appointment themselves.
And when they still message instead, FadeFlow turns the inquiry into a structured booking request. Malik can see what they want, send available times, and create the booking in one action.
Once it's booked, FadeFlow keeps everything connected:
✓ Calendar updated
✓ Customer updated
✓ Confirmation sent
✓ Reminder scheduled
Rescheduling works the same way. The old slot is released, the new one is reserved, and the related reminders are updated automatically.
I built it around one idea:
Let the customer handle the predictable parts. Let Malik handle the moments that actually need him.

I built GlowHaus Concierge for a fictional solo beauty studio in Lekki, Lagos.
The problem: a simple “Can I book with you?” can turn into 10+ messages, checking availability, collecting details, chasing deposits, confirming appointments, and handling reschedules.
So I built a system that turns:
“Can I book with you?” - “You’re booked.”
Customers can:
Choose a service
Pick an available time
Enter their details
Pay a deposit
Get confirmed
Reschedule themselves
And the owner gets a dashboard for bookings, deposits, follow-ups, and automations.
