Starlit is a landing page concept for a tool that helps local businesses ask every customer for a Google review. I designed and built it from scratch in HTML and CSS, working step by step with an AI assistant for guidance and making the final calls myself.
Design decisions:
A serif and sans-serif pairing with a tight warm palette, so it doesn’t look like a generic SaaS template
A bento-style feature layout, where card size shows what matters most, instead of identical icon cards
One primary call to action, repeated through the page, with a recommended pricing plan that moves to the top on mobile
Policy-aware copy: every customer is offered the same public review link, with a private note as an optional extra
Quality checks: I audited it with Lighthouse and fixed contrast, heading order, and accessibility issues:
Desktop: 99 performance, 92 accessibility, 92 best practices, 100 SEO;
Mobile: performance 96, 92 accessibility, 92 best practices, 100 SEO.
I also critiqued an AI-generated page for the same product, see my second project.
