Explainable Real-Time Phishing Detection Dashboard 🚀🚀

I designed and built a phishing-detection dashboard that doesn't just flag a URL as "safe" or "dangerous" — it explains why, breaking down every signal that contributed to the verdict so the result is transparent and trustworthy, not a black box.

What I delivered:

A URL scanner that evaluates links across multiple signals: domain/WHOIS checks, SSL certificate validity, Safe Browsing and threat-intelligence checks, brand-similarity detection, and page-content analysis A visual risk score with a clear safe / suspicious / phishing verdict, backed by an explainable breakdown of each contributing factor Scan history with filtering, so past checks can be reviewed and re-analyzed An analytics dashboard (charts via Chart.js) summarizing detection patterns — total scans, phishing caught, verdict distribution, most-triggered signals An alerts system and a built-in reporting flow for flagging missed or incorrect detections Clean, responsive UI built as a single self-contained front-end app

Why it matters: Most phishing tools give a verdict with no reasoning, which makes it hard for users to learn or trust the result. This project focuses on explainability — showing the actual evidence behind each decision — which is the direction real-world security tooling is heading.
