At Newway, I built the fullstack project, backend systems for wallet, payment, and digital service platforms in Nigeria. I designed and deployed scalable APIs for real-time wallet transactions, bill payments, subscriptions, and verification services.
I improved system uptime from 97% to 99.9% through database and query optimization, reduced payment failure rates by 30% with better retry logic and transaction handling, and introduced test-driven development practices to improve API stability and reliability.

BLOCKT
Design can feel intimidating.
As someone from a technical background, great design often felt fascinating but out of reach. Looking at beautiful work, it was easy to assume that the creator possessed skills I simply didn't have.
BLOCKT was built to challenge that assumption.
Inspired by Armin Hoffman's Exercise 47 from Graphic Design Manual: Principles and Practice, BLOCKT reduces design to its most elementary form: a single dot divided into nine parts.
Users create custom stamp shapes by combining segments of that dot and use them to build artwork through experimentation, play, and discovery. By limiting the building blocks, BLOCKT lowers the barrier to entry and makes design more approachable for people who might not consider themselves creative.
Alongside the editor is a community gallery that encourages observation and learning. Every artwork is built from the same starting point, transforming the gallery into a shared space for inspiration, experimentation, and design education.
