In Carthage and Roman Africa, artisans cut thousands of tiny stone tiles — tesserae — and placed them, fragment by fragment, into mosaics that still glow on the floors of the Bardo in Tunis two thousand years later. That is editing at its origin: take many small pieces, place them with intention, reveal a whole greater than its parts. In this world, the scissors in the CapCut logo are no longer a UI icon — they are the artisan's blade. Every project is a mosaic, every cut is a tessera, every export is a masterpiece revealed. The palette is drawn from the coast: Sidi Bou Said cobalt, chalk white, sun-baked terracotta, and brass. The brand speaks slowly and confidently, like heritage — but moves like modern AI. It stays true to CapCut's spirit: still the creator's companion, the thing in your hands that turns scattered fragments into something whole. We just gave that idea a 3,000-year-old soul. My first test using the new Grok Imagine 1.5 I didn't just get movement, I got mood. The native audio synthesis generates the audio, ambient sounds, and visual motion in one pass, you get a scene that feels cohesive right out of the gate. The audio alignment is a massive step forward, it actually feels synced to the scene.
