It's actually not my pen test, I took a photo of a sheet of paper/-s attached to the pen stand in a book store where people scribble on before getting a new pen.
How many people just randomly scribble on that paper with an intention to see if/how the pen works, and what that sheet of paper can turn into? :)

My brain absolutely does this, half my best ideas start as a doodle I did not mean anything by. A pen test becoming a whole brand direction is exactly how the good stuff sneaks in. Lately a random airport signage font sent me down a full logo rabbit hole.

This video was used on my writer's instagram account to introduce myself on the new account. The timing between each word appearing and disappearing varied based on how long it may take the viewer to read the statement; shorter statements absorbed less time, longer statements used more time. It also incorporated images of me since the video is introducing myself as owner of the account. The pictures used were chosen for specific reasons. The first one was an image used in an author bio for one of my short stories while the other three were pictures of me reading my work out loud in different settings and at different times.
