People ask me all the time: why build for NGOs? Why not e-commerce, SaaS, agencies, e.t.c?
The honest answer is this: "I want my work to mean something."
I grew up watching organizations in my community do extraordinary work with almost nothing to show for it.
Feeding the hungry... Housing the vulnerable... Defending children who couldn't defend themselves... and so many others.
These organizations existed - but they were invisible online.
A donor in Lagos or Internationally couldn't find them.
A grant institution couldn't verify their work.
A volunteer who wanted to help had no way to reach them.
That's the gap I decided to close.
Every website I build is for an organization that has already done the hard work of showing up for their community. My job is to make sure the world can see it.
Since then, I've built websites for child rights foundations, disability-led creative hubs, human needs response organizations, and more.
I'm not the most expensive designer.
I'm not based in a tech capital.
But I understand the NGO space in a way most designers don't - because I live in it, and I genuinely care about the missions I serve.

said that in a tutorial i recorded for contra university and it's the most honest thing i know about where this work is going.
took a figma design, dropped it on the canvas, spun three variants off one client note, published a live clickable site. what used to be four or five revision rounds took about five minutes.
so when execution gets that cheap, it stops being the thing you sell. a client can get a polished working page out of one sentence now. what they still can't get is the call under it. who it's for. what it says. what it refuses to say.
I'm not nervous about teaching designers to move this fast, the faster everyone executes the more obvious it gets who can actually decide.
