I created a luxury product commercial for Moist Heist, showcasing the brand’s lip oil through a premium, beauty focused visual style. The project was designed to highlight the product’s texture, packaging and overall aesthetic while creating a polished and inspirational brand experience.
I handled the visual direction, motion design, editing and product focused storytelling, combining realistic product visuals with AI assisted elements to enhance the creative presentation. The goal was to create a high end commercial that captures attention, communicates the product’s appeal and gives the brand a premium beauty identity.

VIETNAM, Y3K — FLORA Museum Challenge
For the FLORA Museum Challenge, I chose the Incense Burner with Dragon Spout, a Vietnamese artifact from the 1st–3rd century in The Met’s collection ( https://www.metmuseum.org/art/collection/search/53862 ), and reimagined it through a Y3K lens.
I wanted to connect an ancient object with a familiar image of Vietnam today: a woman riding a scooter. The dragon-shaped incense burner became a futuristic chrome vehicle, while traditional Vietnamese clothing and the conical hat were transformed into synthetic future wear.
I built the entire visual world in FLORA, from the clothing and accessories to the dragon scooter, environments, stills, and final video. Using AI as a world building tool, the project imagines how Vietnamese visual culture might evolve into another timeline while still carrying traces of its past.
Love the direction with this! The references to Vietnamese culture is so unique!

Direct Design is a digital-first creative agency built on a simple belief: there’s always a clearer, more direct way forward.
We started this project with just two words: Direct Design, and complete creative freedom.
We explored a lot of narratives around what “Direct” could mean until we landed on something that felt obvious: roads, traffic signs and wayfinding. In the design world, everyone is trying to find a more direct way forward. Better decisions, fewer detours, clearer direction. So we built the brand around that idea.

We probably spent way too much time obsessing over details most people will never notice, but that’s also what made this one so fun.
And yes, it’s completely human-made. No AI. Even the 3D was manually built in Blender.

Built a 3D model viewer inside @Rive .
Not a plugin, not an embed — an actual glTF renderer running on @Rive 's GPU Canvas, written in Luau and WGSL, living inside the .riv file.
Drop in a .glb and it loads, lights, animates and orbits. Every control is a data-bound property, so the whole scene is drivable from a state machine, a timeline, or app code. Nothing is hardcoded to one model.
What's in it:
• glTF parsing written from scratch — Luau has no JSON library, so the decoder is hand-rolled
• PBR shading (Cook-Torrance GGX) with key/fill/rim lighting
• Skeletal skinning, 128-joint palette
• Rigid node animation with full keyframe interpolation
• Orbit camera with per-axis locks
• Auto-fit, so any model frames correctly regardless of authored scale
• ~40 data-bound properties: camera, transform, material, animation
Most of it was built by driving the Rive editor over its MCP server with Claude Code — scripted, not clicked.
Runtime support is nearly there. GPU Canvas landed in the web runtime last week. A couple of scripting APIs still need to follow before this can ship to a live site.
