I’m excited to share a snippet of the motion video in action.

When directing motion for SaaS, every movement needs to have a purpose. The challenge wasn’t just animating 3D shapes, but making abstract user data feel tangible, responsive, and intuitive.

Key motion choices in this sequence:

— Rhythmic Assembly: Breaking complex multi-channel data down into modular cubes that lock together effortlessly. — Tactile UI Interaction: Adding organic human interaction through the touch gesture to show how seamless user-profile management can feel. — Fluid Physics: Soft glass floating effects that reduce visual noise and guide the viewer’s focus directly toward key analytics.

Motion design should make complex software feel intuitive before the user even tries it.

Day 4 of 60-days-collecting-awesome-motion-design-references I am gathering cool references for my own work as a Motion Designer, and this one caught my eye today. I love the way that this one mixes typography, video, photos, and shapes. It does a great job with the mixed media style, and the transitions flow super nicely. The VO and sound design are also great; it guides you through the video and keeps you focused on it. This was done by the team at Fern for Mezo.

Took a little time to challenge my motion design skills.

I recreated a Spotify app concept to explore how UI elements, motion, timing, and transitions can come together to create a more engaging product experience.

This was a self initiated practice project, but I treated it like a real product animation project.

Always looking for ways to make interfaces feel more alive through motion.
