How we use Framer + Rive to create better web experiences
Framer handles the website, layout, interactions, transitions, and responsive design.
Rive comes in when we need more advanced, interactive animations.
Our usual workflow:
→ Design the animation in Rive → Build the website and interactions in Framer → Create Rive State Machines for different interaction states → Embed the Rive animation into Framer → Connect the animation to the user experience → Keep the motion subtle and intentional
The goal isn't to animate everything.
It's about using Framer for the overall experience and Rive for the moments that need more depth and interaction.
That combination can make a simple website feel much more dynamic without overwhelming the design.
