I wanted my portfolio website to feel a little more like me — somewhere between art and tech. So I created my own little OS-like experience to bring those two sides together. You can open windows, browse projects, ask questions through a console, and eventually step out of the desktop interface into an explorable 3D world. It’s still a portfolio at its core — just presented in a way that felt more natural to me. A few of the technical ideas behind it: → A custom window-based interface rather than a traditional portfolio layout. → A Q&A console built around my professional experience. It currently uses semantic and heuristic matching from AI-generated responses based on a RAG of my work. Direct AI integration is also implemented, but temporarily paused to keep API costs under control. → GSAP animations and transitions throughout the interface. → An interactive 3D environment connected to the main UI. → A responsive experience across desktop, tablet and mobile. I didn’t really want this to be just a prettier résumé. I wanted it to show a little bit of how I enjoy approaching software: mixing engineering with design, experimenting, and finding practical ways to make ideas work. There are still things I want to improve — which is probably my favorite part. I also wanted a place where I could actually show things that are hard to explain in a résumé: interaction, visual decisions, motion, 3D, and the amount of care that can go into building an experience.
