I recently added an FAQ section to the Offmade portfolio, using questions that come up in conversations about my work.
If you’re putting one together for your own site, a few things worth considering:
→ Start with questions people have actually asked you.
→ Put the direct answer first, then add context if needed.
→ Include practical details about your process, timelines, and what’s included.
→ Keep it updated as the way you work changes.
Writing the answers is also a useful exercise in explaining your own services. If something feels difficult to answer clearly, it might deserve more thought before it goes on the page.
NYC TaxAbate Advisors came to me with a clear purpose and a real gap to fill.
Ori Efroni spent years in New York property management watching self-managed condo and co-op boards miss the Cooperative and Condominium Tax Abatement year after year, not because they did not qualify, but because nobody was filing for them.
The brief was to build everything from the ground up. Brand strategy, logo design, visual identity and a full Webflow website, all designed to earn the trust of skeptical New York board members in under sixty seconds.
The result is a brand built on Quiet Authority. A custom skyline and keyhole mark. A palette of deep navy and warm linen. Copy that says exactly what needs to be said and nothing more.
Friday Question: When Did You Last Check Your Website on Your Phone? 📱
Not on your laptop.
Not in the editor preview.
On your actual phone. The way your customers see it.
This week I did exactly that with my own website. And I didn’t love what I saw.
The menu button was plain. The dropdown felt like an afterthought. And the most important button, “Let’s Talk,” was just another line of text in a list.
So I rebuilt it.
✔ A clearer menu button
✔ A proper slide-out menu
✔ A call-to-action you can’t miss
Nothing was “broken.” It just wasn’t helping anyone take the next step.
Here’s a 60-second test you can do right now:
→ Open your website on your phone
→ Tap the menu
→ Try to contact yourself
How many taps did it take? Did anything feel awkward?
