We’re launching the very first Jitter hackathon on Contra 🚀
Create a motion design in Jitter and submit it for a chance to win $1,000 — our panel of judges will select 5 winners.
To enter the hackathon, your post must include:
• A Jitter file link to your animation (feel free to submit several!)
• A short description explaining the concept, style, and use case
• The animation must be new and original — no templates or reused work
• The submission must be made on the Hackathon page

@Mahmood Ali @Sébastien Robaszkiewicz That's just an excuse. I started learning animation when the hackathon began. I used Jitter once before that. You just have to post what you have. You don't have to win your first hackathon.

Here are the judges who will be selecting the 5 winning submissions:
What we’re looking for:
• The animation must be original (not based on a template or somebody else’s work)
• The entire animation must be made in Jitter (although it can include video or images)
• Shared on the Jitter Community with the hashtag #jitterhackathon
• Posted to the Contra Hackathon page
Bonus points
• 🎨 Push the boundaries: Create something truly original by tapping into Jitter’s full potential — think custom easings, blur effects, audio, and more.
• 🌍 Real-world use case: Showcase how your animation would fit into a real product, campaign, or brand (mock it up...
@Sébastien Robaszkiewicz Could you please clarify the difference between sharing in the "Jitter Community #jitterhackathon" and posting on the "Contra Hackathon Page"? I’ve already submitted my animation, but I’m not sure if I need to share it somewhere else too. Just want to make sure I’m following all the steps! 😊

@Avinash The instructions says “(feel free to submit several!)”, I don't know if you'll be able to submit several posts to the hackathon, but it looks like in 1 post you can include the link to more than one, BTW, I think every post has a characters limit. I hope it helps 😉

When trying to submit another one that is much more complex I found out that the submit opportunity is gone.
So you have to submit all the versions you intend to send right away?
