THE LAST MEMORY

Year: 2100.

Humanity has achieved a perfect world. There are no wars, no pandemics, and no hunger. Every child receives a biological AI called MindWeave, allowing people to buy intelligence, skills, and professions instead of earning them. The richer you are, the smarter you become.

Behind this perfect civilization stands a single corporation: Apex Neural.

For fifty years, the world has hated one man—Elvis Voss, remembered as the greatest terrorist in human history.

After his capture, the Truth Engine reveals an impossible secret. Elvis was never trying to destroy humanity. As one of Apex Neural's founders, he discovered that MindWeave never created intelligence—it locked the human brain and rented its own potential back to its owner through a subscription system controlled by the company.

When the truth is finally exposed, Apex Neural falls. The system shuts down. Every MindWeave loses its connection.

Doctors forget surgery.

Pilots lose control.

Scientists forget their equations.

Engineers no longer understand the machines they built.

Civilization doesn't explode—it simply forgets how to exist.

THE LAST MEMORY explores a question: If humanity stopped earning knowledge and started renting it, what would happen when the subscription ended?

The dust behind a motorcycle on a dirt road is the same dust that drifts across Mars and maybe the same dust we're all made of.

I've never edited a video in my life. I build software for a living. But I found Renoise, saw this challenge, and as someone who can't resist one, I treated it the only way I knew how: as a problem to solve, shot by shot. 17 scenes, one storyboard, a lot of trial and error from a cornfield on Earth to the red plains of Mars.

I didn't know how to make a film. So I just kept asking: what does this feel like? And chased that frame by frame.
