The right question: how fast can you get to the first moment of real user feedback?
Sometimes that's 7 days. Sometimes it's a 2-day clickable prototype with zero backend, because that's all you actually need to know if anyone cares
I've seen founders spend 3 months "finishing" a build nobody asked to see yet and I've seen a rough, slightly broken prototype get more honest signal in one week than that polished build ever got.
Build for the question you're actually trying to answer, not for the demo day in your head. The feedback loop is the product in the early days - everything else is just scaffolding around it
Wanting another run even when you are bad at it is a pretty good sign. What took more iteration in Heatwave, the driving feel or the police chase behavior?
