"You have no entries." We saw this during our app audit across different niches, same dead end. The user opens the app for the first time, hasn't logged anything yet, and the screen tells them there's nothing there. No illustration, no glimpse of what this screen looks like when it's working, no trigger to add the first entry. Empty states are a design moment. The user is deciding whether this product is worth the effort. So show them what they're working towards and the first log feels like a step. Show them nothing and it feels like work with no payoff.
