We’ve digitized sight. We’ve digitized sound.
We haven’t digitized material.
E-commerce asks us to trust pixels for decisions governed by touch. Tactile brings compression, resistance, and rebound to the screen.

Press a surface. Hold it. Release it. The material responds.
The mattress is the proof of concept. The system extends to anything you wouldn’t buy without touching first.
Material has never been interactive online. Now it is.

wowwww looks like you need to start a mattress brand!
Thank you.
The application can go beyond mattresses. Think pillows, sofa, and even bread!
Exactly what I was thinking, I will def try something like this on product detail of another site
Glad to know it inspired you!
I feel like I'm shopping for my next mattress, really cool concept!
Glad it felt real for you!
Well done
Thank you
Awesomme 🔥
Thanks for your support!
Thank you!
I was tuning resistance into the Snooze interaction for my first submission, thinking about how micro-timing changes perception. That made me realize we simulate visual feedback constantly, but we never simulate material behavior. At that moment, sitting on my bed...

SICK!!!
THANK YOU!!
This is such a brilliant gap to fill! We've seen digital sight and sound perfected but touch has always been the missing sense in e-commerce. A "press to feel" interaction that simulates compression and resistance is genuinely the future of online shopping!
Appreciate you seeing the potential in it!
That gap was exactly what caught my attention. Mattresses are just the starting point. The idea isn’t about beds, it’s about making material behavior interactive. Anything you’d normally need to touch before trusting could eventually respond this way.
Thanks for your support!
hahaha this is briliant!
Thank you!
Great question.
I tuned resistance based on how each material behaves. Compression slows as it deepens, so it feels like material giving way, but it responds instantly to input. The timing and rebound change depending on the material.
It works because the motion aligns with...
🔥 wow
Thank you!
Glad you think so!
Just curious about the prompt you used
I designed the UI on Figma then brought it over to Make with this prompt:
Use the uploaded UI screen as the exact visual foundation. Do not redesign layout, styling, typography, spacing, or composition.
Create an interactive prototype where pressing the top-down mattress...
Very cool - are you actively shopping for beds? 😅
Hahah no - but I was sitting on my bed when the idea struck 😂
Man, this is amazing
Thank you! Glad you think so
Thanks for your support!
Thank you!
Wow, "digitizing material", cool!
Thanks!
