a first-timer to building a site in base44, i'd be lying if i said i wasn't a little intimidated by the #Base44 Challenge, but hey. everything's worth a shot, right? this preview clip at bloom, a lipcare brand that emphasizes self-care & nurturing the consumer, is from yesterday, before taking on some fun, more personalized & interactive changes in tonight's edit!
the only standout issue i've found is being unable to easily edit the generated copy / text elements, so if anyone has any tips or tricks, i'm open-ears!
I noticed Creative freelancers, video editors, and social agencies running monthly retainers lose hours of margin every week chasing scattered feedback across WhatsApp/Slack, manually updating credit spreadsheets, and absorbing unbilled "just one more quick edit" scope creep.
I maximize the opportunity of the Base44 challenge to build SlateOS: Built entirely on Base44, SlateOS is a dual-view Retainer Operating System that unifies agency production and client approvals into one automated pipeline:
AI Brief-to-Production Engine (Brief Studio): Clients paste a messy voice-note transcript or raw campaign idea. SlateOS automatically structures the deliverable, selects the aspect ratio (9:16, 4:5), generates 3 high-retention opening hooks + full platform captions, estimates credit cost, and pushes the asset directly into the pipeline.
Automated Scope-Creep Guard (Approval Studio): Every deliverable tracks revision rounds against the client's retainer allowance (e.g., 2 of 2 Free Used). When a client attempts to submit an out-of-scope revision, SlateOS intercepts the request and presents a 1-click $75 Extra Revision Add-On, turning lost production hours into protected revenue.
1-Click Greenlight & Credit Deduction: Clicking Approve & Auto-Schedule automatically deducts the asset's credit cost from the client's monthly retainer burn-rate bar, locks in the next publishing slot on the Content Calendar, and logs the event in the live Automation Activity feed.
Dual-Persona Experience: Features an instant top-bar switcher between Agency Command and Client Portal (which dynamically adapts navigation and permissions), alongside a 1-click Reset Demo Data button for seamless testing.
I bring solution to our pain, What do you guys think?
The Prop Room: prop rental and shoot planning, built with Base44
* Description:
The Prop Room is a playful prop-rental and shoot-planning web app for photographers, stylists, art directors and brands planning shoots.
The problem: Choosing props is visual, but rental catalogues aren’t. People imagine how isolated objects will look together, then rebuild item lists, quantities, costs and prep notes in separate tools.
* What it does
Collection: 16 props with filters, search, detail views and a tray with live daily totals.
Canvas: a scene editor with drag, resize, rotate, flip, one-step layering, per-object locking, snapping, undo/redo, background colours, PNG export, sharing and presentation mode.
Scene Stylist (AI): use, mood, budget and an optional brief become a catalogue-valid, budget-checked scene that opens straight into the canvas. Prices come from app data, not model text, and there’s a curated fallback plus an honest no-match state.
Inspiration and My Scenes: ready-made templates and saved, named scenes.
* Automation
One scene drives everything. Quantities and dates recalculate the daily and period estimate. A prep checklist is generated from the selected props (lighting power, backdrop support, fragile items, furniture access), and only the affected checks reset when the scene changes. The scene also produces a print-ready shoot pack and a calendar (ICS) file. Inquiries are saved as their own snapshot, so later edits never silently change a submitted request. Planning that usually takes a spreadsheet, a calculator and a checklist happens automatically while you compose.
* Process
Figma first. A brand guide came from a reference palette, with Stack Sans Notch and Stack Sans Text. Prop imagery was generated, cut out and art-directed, and desktop and mobile screens were designed and revised by hand. The approved designs were then built for real in Base44 and refined through rounds of side-by-side checks against Figma and real interaction testing at 1440, 390 and 320 px. The landing page’s brand film was made in Higgsfield with Seedance 2.0.
Aisle is an AI wedding planner that does the work for you. 💍
It finds real vendors, emails them, turns their replies into side-by-side quotes, negotiates when a quote is over budget, and books with one tap. It also chases RSVPs, reminds you of payments, and makes a mood board every vendor sees. You just decide.
It works for every tradition and for weddings that last more than one day.
Built on Base44: entities, 23 backend functions, 5 workflows, an AI agent, and InvokeLLM + GenerateImage.
