Burned Out, unfortunately, no contest. The mascot style is doing a lot of heavy lifting here, playful without tipping into childish. Did the character come first and the UI got built around it, or was it the reverse?

This looks clean and well thought out. How long did it take you to bring everything together?
Brainrot was started around March i think and we finished design in June, including around 70 ios app screens, more than 80 illustrations and animations, the branding and the website!
It took a bit longer than usual, mostly because of the amount illustration and animation we did!
Overachiever, unfortunately, though the sleep impact bar would probably call me a liar. The mascot expressions do a lot of the emotional work here, Burned Out's face alone tells you everything before you read a word.

What actually moved the needle wasn't chasing the score — it was going back through old proposals and noticing I was writing to sound impressive instead of answering the actual technical problem in the brief. Once I started solving the thing nobody explicitly asked but clearly needed, everything got sharper. The ranking followed, not the other way around.
Currently building in Framer — SaaS, real estate, and brand sites with real interaction design. If your brief has a hard technical problem buried in it, that's usually where I do my best work.

The muted cover sells the retro feel right away. I’d test this laptop mockup against a clean full-page crop, because the headline is small enough that it takes a second to read in the feed.
