Hey everyone! 👋

It’s been a long time coming but I’m finally hopping on the Contra train in 2026 so a quick intro. I’m Miglena, a brand and web designer from Bulgaria.

I’ve been designing for 10+ years (👵🏻), working across health, tech, lifestyle, travel, business, education and more.

When I’m not designing, I’m probably deep in the movie rabbit hole, geeking out over new tech, traveling, writing, taking photos, curating home decor, or collecting art books I barely find the time to read.

Curiosity fuels everything I do and freelancing gives me the freedom to do it, which is where Contra comes in ✨

This alone creates opportunities to significantly increase average order value (AOV) and even support higher pricing (2x current price).

Kokeshi set out to turn recycled Japanese textiles into a contemporary luxury fashion brand, with the budget of a startup rather than an established label. I developed the brand concept, Beautiful Violence, contrasting refined craftsmanship with samurai culture: heritage, strength, and rebellion within a high-fashion visual world. To bring that vision to life before physical production, I used AI to rapidly create high-end visuals and films defining the brand's aesthetic and storytelling, giving Kokeshi the presence and polish of an established luxury label from day one.
