One of my favorite summer projects to date.

This was actually one of my first projects Contra featured on their homepage, which still makes me smile when I think about it. Midpoint Rec needed an identity that felt relaxed, chic and a little playful. I built a set of illustrations that landed somewhere between doodle and chic. Been wanting to do something in this same spirit again soon. Anyone else remember the first time Contra featured your work? 🤩 Full project.

For #ConfigMakeathon, I created "Meow Board" 🐾 😼 meow-board.figma.site It's a drawing board where a judgmental-but-loving cat challenges you to sketch then teaches you to draw better by showing you how, stroke by stroke. Pick a subject, draw it your way, get a paw rating (never less than 3 the cat is supportive, not cruel 😼), then watch the cat draw it back beautifully so you can trace along and actually improve. Earn a 10/10 and your sketch gets hung in the Meow Museum. It's designed so kids (and grown-ups who swear they "can't draw") can build real interest in art through play instead of pressure.
