Designed and built PD&M Portal 2.0, an internal Apple web platform for managing IT requests, hardware/software inventory, staff assignments, and fulfillment workflows across a distributed microservices architecture. Developed and re-architected FE, alongside eight backend services in Node.js/TypeScript (Express, PostgreSQL, Redis) and REST API handling ticket processing and approvals. Implemented a GraphQL gateway using Apollo Server to federate inventory, orders, and hardware data, and built a notifications service with email templating, SMTP retry logic, and web push delivery. Integrated third-party systems including FedEx shipping, Airtable, AWS S3 for file storage, and Apple's internal LDAP/OIDC authentication proxy. Maintained shared internal libraries consumed across services, and established testing standards across the platform. Tech stack: React 18, Redux/Redux-Saga, Apollo Client, GraphQL (Apollo Server v4), Node.js, TypeScript, PHP 8/Laravel, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS S3, Docker/Kubernetes, AI tooling (Claude Code).
