2. Offer them a risk reversal. People want certainty when they buy. That's why it is your duty as a copywriter to alleviate their anxiety. You can do that by stating a guarantee in the copy. The purpose of a guarantee is to dispel all doubt and risk, helping the client take a decision faster.

3. Explain the ordering process. How are they going to purchase your good? The more details you offer them in this regard, the higher the change of them ordering. I believe that this also has something to do with alleviating anxiety.

Your potential client is looking for certainty. He or she wants to know exactly what they are doing. You can help by laying the exact map of the ordering process.

4. Bullets are a great alternative to your story.

Sometimes, you may not grasp a great story for your product. What's there to be done in such cases? Simply use bullet points to highlight the benefits of your product or service.

This way, your prospect can have a clear view of what you have to offer them.

What's better is that the bullets can be placed at the end of the copy, if your piece contains a lot of important information.

5. Understand people's greater desires

A copywriter understands basic human psychology because that's how sales are made.

While it is important to understand why a person may buy a certain product or make use of a certain service, understanding the primary desires that people may have make a difference between a winning piece and a mediocre one.

What are the primary desires? Think of them as the deadly sins, such as greed, lust, or envy. A person may want a car to reach work faster and in a safer environment, but deep down, that person wants for people to envy their car. That is the primary desire in this situation.
