I designed and developed this landing page for Stereo Fest: Eclipse, the upcoming youth event for @caminodevida.
The visual concept comes from a simple truth: the moon has no light of its own, it only reflects the light of the sun.
In the same way, we weren’t made to generate our own light, but to reflect Jesus.
The cool part: as you scroll, you control the movement of the moon. Right at the core phrase, the eclipse happens, showing that in the darkness, the Glory of God is revealed.

exactly! also, we didn't want to use the typical yellow for the sun; instead, we used electric violet and coral red to maintain the color palette being used throughout the event, and it worked very well.
controlling the moon with the scroll is such a smart way to tell the story. having the eclipse land right on the main line is a great touch

In recent days I’ve been practicing designing around an image.
Sometimes an image can have great potential and reinforce the message we want to convey. I’m not saying this is the correct way to prepare a strategy, it’s simply an exercise.
