Kofi's Roast — Product Launch Email | Midnight Volta
DESCRIPTION:
Email copywriting for Kofi's Roast (mock client), a specialty coffee roaster in Osu, Accra.
Goal: Launch Midnight Volta dark roast and sell out a limited run of 150 bags in one week.
What I delivered: 3 A/B test subject lines: "Meet the roast we've been sitting on for a year" / "Our darkest roast yet is finally here" / "This one's not for beginners "Preview text: Small batch. Bold cup. Available for one week only. Full product launch email with scarcity + origin story (Volta Highlands) + sensory notes (dark chocolate, toasted hazelnut)
Strategy: DTC email that feels premium, Ghanaian, and urgent — built to convert.
