2 years deep in design system engineering: helping teams modernize legacy frameworks and bring AI agentic workflows into how they build.
A design system is the foundation an organization runs on. AI doesn't replace that work, it speeds up how fast you can build and maintain it.
At Clerky, that meant building out the token layer and using Claude Code with Figma Console MCP to sync design tokens straight to code, removing a step that used to eat days. That also meant structuring components in Figma so an agent could generate them correctly on the first pass, and writing the AI-facing documentation each component needs to be read like data, not handed off to a human.
