Speed Is Easy. Clean AI-Assisted Development Is Hard.

AI tools can help developers move fast. They can generate code, write tests, explain errors, and speed up boring tasks.

But speed alone is not enough.

The real challenge is keeping the product clean while using AI. If you accept every suggestion without checking it, the codebase can quickly become bloated, inconsistent, and hard to maintain.

That is why I treat AI like a strong assistant, not the main developer.

I use tools like Claude and Cursor to speed up planning, debugging, refactoring, and implementation. But I still review the logic, check the architecture, and make sure the code fits the product.

Clean AI-assisted development means:

Keeping features simple Avoiding unnecessary code Understanding what gets added Protecting the architecture Testing before trusting

AI can help us build faster, but good judgment keeps the product healthy.

The best results come when developers use AI with control, not blindly.
