Most hackathon projects end up as pretty prototypes that nobody actually uses. I wanted to build something a real business could run on.
Cooper's Bakery has been baking in Bangladesh since 1984 — a genuine institution. But their online presence hadn't moved with them: static image menus, manual forms, zero connection between the website and their actual stores.
For the @Base44 x @Contra #GiveItAGlow challenge, I gave them a proper glow-up.
Before: cluttered static menus, manual forms, no link between the site and the branches.
After: a fast, mobile-first storefront with a real interactive menu and an AI concierge that actually does something.
The concierge isn't a generic chatbot bolted on for show. It:
Figures out early on whether someone wants a regular cake or a custom event cake, and routes them differently
Asks their area (Dhaka North, Dhaka Central, or outside Dhaka) to check branch availability before going further
Helps plan custom orders — sizing by guest count, flavor suggestions, reference images right in the chat
Once an order's finalized, generates a clean order summary and automatically sends it to the branch manager's inbox when the customer confirms
The best part: I didn't stop at the submission. I showed the live site to Cooper's General Manager, and they were impressed enough that we're meeting Monday to talk about a real rollout across branches.
Win or lose, this pushed me to build something with actual business value — and it turned into a real conversation with a real client. That's the part I'm most proud of.

Human by Design: La Mie Bakery Identity
Although we missed the official Contra x @envato challenge deadline, the workflow behind this project is worth sharing.
It's a complete brand identity and packaging system for La Mie, an artisan bakery.
While exploring the Envato library for inspiration, we noticed how generic concepts easily fall into template traps. Anyone can pull assets or generate a quick layout, but a distinct human perspective is required to create a cohesive, soulful brand ecosystem.
The workflow:
- custom character design: we moved away from sterile AI concepts and sketched a bespoke French poodle mascot from scratch.
- bespoke typography: we hand-lettered the primary logo text to establish an authentic, homey brand voice.
- production & curation: developed the packaging system in Figma using curated Envato mockups and design assets to enhance the final presentation.
While AI is an efficient tool for rapid brainstorming, true storytelling and emotional connection still require a designer’s touch.

Clean and professional UI with clear value proposition, smart AI chatbot highlights, feature sections, and strong CTAs focused on delivering faster, smarter customer service.
Most people will probably look at the final UI.
I hope you look at the process.
Instead of spending days designing every screen manually, I wanted to see how far an AI-first workflow could go before I stepped in.
Here's how I built it:
• Researched the product, user flow, and screen prompts with ChatGPT.
• Generated all illustration assets with Google Flow.
• Uploaded my design system into Flowstep first. Typography, colors, spacing, border radius, component rules, everything.
• Generated the onboarding flow first to test consistency.
• Then generated every remaining screen using detailed prompts.
In around 10 minutes, Flowstep produced roughly 70–80% of the UI.
That saved hours of repetitive work.
Then came the designer's job.
I exported everything into Figma, cleaned the layouts, fixed inconsistencies, improved spacing, replaced placeholders with the illustration assets, and made the experience feel much more playful.
After polishing everything, I imported the designs back into Flowstep to build the prototype.
It wasn't all smooth.
I hit Figma rate limits multiple times while syncing files, and prototype generation failed more than once.
But that's part of working with new AI tools.
The biggest lesson from this project:
AI didn't replace the design process.
It removed a lot of the repetitive work so I could spend more time making the product feel thoughtful.
