Phool Patti Atelier | Pakistan's Truck Art, Made Real
In Pakistan, truck drivers spend months of wages having their trucks hand-painted. Nobody asks them to. There's no commercial reason for it. They do it out of pure pride.
It's one of the largest living folk art traditions on earth, and it lives on the back of a Bedford truck.
If this craft had come out of Europe, it would have a maison by now. So I built the one it never got.
Phool Patti Atelier is a fictional luxury house for hand-painted heirlooms including mirrors, cabinets, and trunks, built entirely in Squarespace with no custom code.
The hardest decision was refusing to desaturate it. Every instinct says to tone the colour down to make it feel premium. But that quietly agrees this craft needs permission to be luxury. It doesn't. So the palette came straight off the trucks. Crimson, mustard, peacock teal. The layout does the work instead.
Finish Layer
• Block Animations: Sections rise in on scroll, like a panel being painted one layer at a time.
• Transforms: Every sticker is tilted off-grid by hand because truck art is never symmetrical.
• Stacks: Holding the layered compositions together across screen sizes.

I think B is you and A is Claude. Version B feels super polished and premium with that architectural hero image. Version A is solid, but that massive bold text at the top feels a bit like a typical ai layout choice that needs a human touch to clean up the hierarchy.
