No-code/low-code tools in 2026: FlutterFlow vs Replit vs Lovable — my honest take
Been building across all three lately and figured I'd share where each one actually shines, since I get asked this a lot.
FlutterFlow — still my go-to when the client needs a real mobile app (iOS + Android) with native performance. The visual builder maps directly to Flutter widgets, so what you design is genuinely what ships. Best for teams that want production-grade apps without hand-coding every screen, and you can still eject to real code when you need to.
Replit — my playground for anything that needs actual logic fast. Full dev environment in the browser, live collaboration, and now with their AI agent it's stupidly quick to go from idea to working backend. I reach for this when a project needs custom APIs, databases, or anything beyond drag-and-drop.
Lovable — the fastest path from "here's my idea" to a working web app front-end. Great for MVPs, landing pages, and client demos where you need something polished to show in an afternoon. Less control than the other two, but nothing beats the speed.
My rule of thumb: Lovable to prototype the vibe, Replit to build the real logic, FlutterFlow when it needs to live on a phone.
Curious what everyone else's stack looks like — are you mixing tools too, or picking one and going deep? 👇

The "eject to real code" point is the one that matters most long-term imo — I build FlutterFlow templates for the marketplace and that's exactly the feature that keeps client apps from hitting a wall once they need custom logic the visual builder can't handle natively.
