This project features a retro-inspired vintage poster design created for a unique brand collaboration between Michaels, TOMORROW, and OBERLAND. The design celebrates a "Christmas in July" theme in Dallas, TX, combining playful character illustration with bold typography to deliver a distinct, eye-catching aesthetic.
Key Design Highlights:
Character Illustration: Designed a custom 1930s rubber-hose style mascot wearing a Santa hat and boxing gloves, incorporating stylized typography inside the character's open mouth.
Retro Typography & Layout: Utilized bold, vintage display fonts paired with clean secondary typography to maintain hierarchy while conveying event details clearly.
Curated Color Palette: Applied a classical mid-century color scheme of deep forest green, cherry red, and cream off-white to accentuate the festive holiday theme.
Brand Integration: Seamlessly incorporated partner logos and credits at the bottom to maintain high professional standards for production and promotional use.

For the brand identity, I created a distinctive logo that combines a clothes hanger with a coffee cup/swirl, creating a simple visual connection between laundry and coffee.
