The most successful PR campaigns don't end when the package is delivered.
One of my favorite projects was working on PR seeding for #Clinique hero products, where we coordinated gifting across 100+ beauty editors, media contacts and beauty KOLs in India.
Most people think PR seeding is simply sending products.
It isn't.
Behind every successful gifting campaign is a strategy:
• Understanding which products suit which creators and publications. • Maintaining an organized media and creator database. • Tracking deliveries and follow-ups. • Building relationships beyond a single launch. • Ensuring every touchpoint feels intentional not transactional.
The spreadsheet behind the campaign was hundreds of rows long (unfortunately I can't share it due to client confidentiality), but it reminded me of something important.
PR isn't built on one launch.
It's built through consistency.
The strongest media and creator relationships are developed over months and often years of meaningful interactions.
As beauty brands continue investing in creator marketing, I believe relationship management is becoming just as valuable as campaign execution.
Because people don't remember every product they receive.
They remember how a brand made them feel.
What's one brand that you think consistently does relationship-building well rather than just product launches?
