What if public campaigns could make cities feel a little more human?
For the Human by Design challenge, I designed a series of public awareness campaigns that encourage safer, smarter, and more sustainable urban mobility. Envontra City became the fictional setting to bring those campaigns to life.
Using Envato assets as my primary creative toolkit, I explored concepts with GenAI, then refined every campaign through human judgment—from the message and visual hierarchy to composition, typography, and motion.
AI accelerated the creative process. Human creativity shaped the communication.

First Row Only — My Human by Design Entry
For the #EnvatoChallenge, I wanted to test the Human by Design theme rather than simply talk about it. In a world where AI and asset libraries offer almost unlimited options, I wanted to see whether removing most of those choices would make human judgment more visible.
If chance decided what I searched for and the first row limited what I could use, could I still turn those ingredients into something intentional?
That question became First Row Only. Four random words decided what I searched for, and every asset had to come from the first row. I could reroll, but only all four words together. Once I accepted a set, it was locked. The constraint removed the safety net of searching for the perfect assets. It forced me to recognize potential, make tradeoffs, and turn a random combination into a coherent design. I built a simple Chrome extension to keep the process honest.
On the fifth draw, I got FESTIVAL for the photo, TEXTURE for the graphic, SOFT SERIF for the font, and HERO as the poster word. The font direction wasn’t what I wanted, but the other ingredients had too much potential to ignore.
My Human by Design moment was choosing to build the base image myself. ImageGen could have produced a finished poster faster, and possibly even a more polished design than I could build on my own. But this wasn’t about outperforming AI. I wanted to own the typography, composition, and message, then let VideoGen extend my design into motion. Finally, I used SoundGen to complete the animation with a five-second festival sound.
Choosing the assets with the most potential, deciding what to create myself, and knowing where AI could take it further—that’s Human by Design.
Human by Design
Human by Design is a cinematic short film that explores the quiet rituals behind creative work. The film follows an editor immersed in his work as fatigue gradually sets in. At the same time, a cup of coffee is slowly taking shape, unfolding alongside his creative journey. As both processes reach completion, he pauses, picks up the coffee, and returns to his work with renewed focus.
Built using Envato stock assets as the foundation, every creative decision, from shot selection and pacing to sound design and color progression, was carefully shaped to transform individual clips into one cohesive story. The result is a reminder that while creative tools can accelerate the process, it is human judgment, intention, and taste that give the work meaning.

My Human by Design moment: overriding it, mapping every detail to real psychology — handwritten letters for Grief, exploding dough for Hope, a vinyl record for Nostalgia, a "CLOSED" sign for Burnout, grenade chilis for Rage.
Started as a cookbook concept. Became a full brand — apparel, sunglasses, hot sauce packaging, campaign reels — one Envato pipeline, start to finish.
@Envato gave it a canvas. Human taste gave it a soul.
